1. Connect--Fellowship:
God did not intend for believers to live in
isolation, but in fellowship with other believers. This happens when youth are
known, cared for, held accountable, and encouraged in their spiritual journey.
Eph. 2:19 “Consequently, you are no longer foreigners
and strangers, but fellow citizens with God’s people and also members of his
household…”
Implements: Church meetings,
Coffee house, restaurants, park and picnics.
2. Grow--Discipleship:
It’s a lifelong learning process that God uses to
bring us to maturity in Christ.
Heb. 6:1 “Therefore
let us move beyond the elementary teachings about Christ and be taken forward
to maturity, not laying again the foundation of repentance from acts that lead
to death, and
of faith in God…”
Implements: Training,
equipping, discipling and mentoring through Bible Studies, Bible Games,
Quizzes, Audio/Video presentations
3. Honor--Worship:
Celebrating God’s presence and honoring Him with our
life style. That is the very purpose of every human being on the Earth. Loving
the creator.
Matthew 22:37 Jesus replied: “‘Love
the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your
mind.’
Rom. 12:1 “Therefore,
I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies
as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper
worship”.

vibrant contemporary Music to magnify God
4. Reach--Soul
Winning (Evangelism) Sharing the good news of Jesus Christ with those who don’t yet have a personal
relationship with God.
Matt. 28:19 “Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of
the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit…”
Matthew 22:38-39 “This is the first and
greatest commandment. And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as
yourself.”
Implements: Through sports,
games, concerts, festivals, dramas, skits, dance etc.
5. Discover--Serve:
It means meeting needs with love. It means to serve
God by serving people. Every believer regardless of their age has been blessed
by God with special gifts to be used for the ministry of God. God given gifts
don’t come with an age limitation.
1Cor.
12:6 “There
are different kinds of working, but in all of them and in everyone it is the
same God at work”.
Implements: Our goal in the YOTS will be help Youth find
their God given gifts and use those gifts and talents to do ministry to expand
God’s kingdom.
